Hello, I’m Simon and I run Square Jaw Fabrications.

I have 38 years experience in engineering, welding and fabrication and offer a bespoke service from my unit in Redruth, Cornwall. After a BTEC Eng at college, I completed an apprenticeship in toolmaking and then qualified as an engineer in aerospace and manufacturing. From my formative years as a toolmaker/setter, I spent the rest of my career in architectural welding and fabrication and through different employers to marine fabrication where I specialised in aluminium superstructure and marine grade stainless parts. I have acquired numerous welding codings and qualifications from aerospace, structural, pipework and more in multiple processes. I spent 7 years as a Further Education qualified teacher in Engineering, Welding and Fabrication.
